Made in Amman: how a SAIDAM piece is printed

Every SAIDAM design starts the same way: a symbol we grew up with — Handala, a keffiyeh stitch, the shape of the map — redrawn until it reads clearly from across a street.

We print in Amman, in small runs. Blanks are chosen for weight first: heavyweight cotton hoodies that hold their shape after washing, and mid-weight tees that don't go transparent in the sun.

Prints are cured properly before packing, which is why a back print survives years of wear instead of cracking after a month. Embroidery is done separately, by hand-guided machine, one piece at a time.

Because runs are small, colours and sizes sell out and return slowly. If a piece you want is gone, message us on WhatsApp — we usually know the next run date.
